Policies

Reservation, Cancellation and Refund Policies

To Make a Reservation: Please call us at toll free 877-890-8600 (US) or 978-365-4549, or email info(at)lancasterhealth.com to make a reservation for any of our programs or services. Our phone reception is available seven days a week, from 9 am – 9 pm Eastern US time. The in-residence Maharishi Rejuvenation (Panchakarma) program is ideally reserved 3 – 4 weeks or more in advance of your arrival day to allow time for planning the home preparation program which is recommended two weeks prior to arrival.

For Women Only: Women should schedule their Maharishi Rejuvenation (Panchakarma) Program so that it does not coincide with the first three days of menstrual flow. Should this occur during your stay, your Panchakarma program will be suspended on those days and then restarted within 3 days, depending on space availability. You will be required to pay only the overnight room and meals fee during these “rest days”. The optimal time to schedule your Maharishi Rejuvenation (Panchakarma) program is immediately following the monthly cycle. The Maharishi Rejuvenation program is not given during pregnancy.

Confirmation Letter: After speaking with our reservations personnel, you will be faxed or emailed a “confirmation letter” outlining your estimated program costs and the deposit amount required in order to hold your reservation. You will need to sign and fax this confirmation letter back to us at: FAX# 978-365-9145.

Deposit and Payment: We require a 50% deposit of your total estimated program costs be paid at the time of booking your reservation. Your deposit serves as your reservation confirmation. After you arrive you will be given a printed invoice detailing your total estimated program charges, reflecting the deposit taken. The remaining balance due, plus additional charges for any changes or upgrades made to your program or services or products that you may purchase during your stay, will be incorporated into a final invoice that will be delivered to you prior to your departure. Full payment is due prior to departure.

Cancellation/Change and Refund Policy: We request you make your reservation a minimum of 21 days in advance. A deposit equal to 50% of your estimated program cost is due at time of confirmation of your reservation. Your reservation is confirmed by payment of the deposit. Any cancellation or change to your reservation once confirmed will result in a $100 administrative fee.

If you change or cancel your reservation more than 14 days prior to arrival, a full refund of your deposit is available minus the $100 administrative fee.

If you cancel or change your reservation within 7 – 14 days prior to arrival, the $100 administrative fee will be charged, and the balance of your deposit will be retained as a credit that can be applied toward our programs and services for up to one year.

If you make a change or cancel your reservation within 7 days prior to your arrival, an administrative fee equal to 10% of your original estimated program cost will be charged. Your deposit will be retained as a credit that can be applied to future programs or services within one year.

If you make a change to or cancel your reservation once you have arrived, the full balance of charges for services used will be due upon departure, and any balance of the deposit remaining will be retained as a credit that can be applied to future programs and services for up to one year. In addition an administrative fee of 10% of your original estimated program cost will be charged.

Note: Refunds will not be issued in the event of illness, women’s monthly cycle, or other circumstances that may interrupt your program or prevent completion of the program as scheduled. Credit for the unused portion of your program may be applied to future programs or services within one year.

If you wish to extend your stay, please inquire about availability, and if possible we will be happy to accommodate you.

Fees and Taxes: A 3% service fee and any required meals and room taxes will be applied to your program costs.

Optional Program and Services “Upgrades”: Additional charges will be applied for any optional “upgrades” to our package prices for programs or services you may elect to have. The “upgrade” charges represent our cost to provide these services or programs, and are not eligible for discounts or other special promotions.

Insurance: Insurance does not cover our programs.

Form of Payment: We accept cash, personal checks drawn on a U.S. bank, money orders, bank checks, U.S. funds traveler’s checks, Visa, Master card, Am. Ex., and Discover. If making payment by check, please make check payable to: ‘Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center Lancaster’. If mailing check, mail to: Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center Lancaster, 679 George Hill Rd., Lancaster, MA 01523, attn: Finance Office.

Additional Guest Information

Clothing: There is no specific dress for meals or lectures. We recommend you bring comfortable clothing to wear during your stay such as sweat suits, comfortable shirts or tops, sweaters, etc. Comfort is the priority. Please note that your clothes may be exposed to oils used in the various Ayurvedic procedures. If you like to go for walks then please bring walking shoes and warmer clothes for outdoors including scarves or hats to help prevent over exposure from the sun, wind or cold. We will provide: robes, slippers, cotton caps/turbans, soaps, shampoo, and hair dryers. Showers are also provided in the clinic for your convenience.

No Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.

Laundry: For your convenience we provide complimentary laundry service up to three times/week for our weekly guests. Additional laundry service is $15 per load. Dry cleaning is available with a 2 – 3 days service. Charges depend on the service.

Telephone: There are telephones with private voice mail in each guest room. Local calls are free but a phone card is necessary for long distance calls. Phone cards may be purchased at our Guest Services desk. Cell phone reception is sometimes weak depending on your type of service.

Internet Access: Internet access is available in each room. Please contact Guest Services for connector. Also there is a computer with Internet available for use by guests in our main lecture room off the main lobby.

Meals: We serve freshly prepared organic vegetarian cuisine. Please inform us ahead of time if you have any special dietary needs and we will be happy to discuss and accommodate. NOTE: Freshly cooked meals to go are available on your departure day. We kindly request that you give one day or more notice for this service. This service is not available for departures before 9 am.

Ground Transportation: For transportation from area airports and transportation facilities, we can recommend “All Points Limousine” www.allpointslimoservice.com, Tel: 978-537-4122; or “Knights Limousine” at www.knightslimo.com, info(at)knightslimo.com. Tel: 1-800-822-5456 (ask about Knights Limousine’s door to door shuttle service). We find these companies to be reliable, comfortable and competitively priced.

Arrival and Departure: Prior to your arrival day, please inform our Reservations office about your flight information and/or other traveling arrangements, and your estimated time of arrival and departure from Lancaster, so that we may best assist you.

Directions: Directions to the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center Lancaster, and information about area airports, transportation facilities and transportation services are available upon request.
